Flights are arranged to suit the tour as a group in advance, therefore we cannot book individual preferences or guarantee direct flights.
We depart Brisbane on our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. We travel via the Tweed River, breaking at Kingscliff for morning tea, then our journey takes us through the picturesque Northern Rivers, arriving at the Scottish township of Maclean, breaking here for lunch. Our afternoon takes us to Port Macquarie where we bed down for the night.
This morning we head for the Hunter Valley, breaking for a cuppa at the township of Bulahdelah. We continue on into the Hunter Valley arriving at Brokenwood Wines where we indulge in the fine food and wine that is on offer, all the while enjoying the magnificent view. Next we make our way to our resort accommodation.
This morning we head to Maitland to join a guided tour of the heritage listed Maitland Gaol, once housing some of Australia’s most hardened and notorious criminals. Next enjoy lunch at Twine Restaurant before returning to the resort for a leisurely afternoon. Tonight, get into the Christmas spirit with a night visit to the Hunter Valley Gardens, superbly lit up with thousands of Christmas lights.
Departing the Hunter Valley, we make our way to Broken Bay Pearl Farm. Follow the story of the Australian pearl from its ancient Indigenous beginnings through to modern farming and grading techniques, all the way to the finished piece of unique pearl jewellery. Experience a tour of the Shellar Door, a cruise to a pearl oyster lease, and an immersive pearl grading session inside the restricted-access Pearl Room. Our afternoon takes us into the Southern Highlands finishing our day at Sutton Forest where we check into historic Peppers Manor House.
This morning we head to Knights Hill to visit the award-winning Illawarra Fly. Take a walk through the treetops on the 1.5km track through beautiful warm temperate rainforest with 500 metres of steel walkway nestled in the treetop canopy some 20–30 metres above the ground. From here we venture on to have a lovely lunch at Centennial Vineyards, then onwards to spend time at Bradman Museum & International Cricket Hall of Fame.
Merry Christmas! After a festive breakfast together, we take a morning scenic drive overlooking the tranquil Kangaroo Valley where you are free to take a short walk to explore the lush escarpment country and see the magnificent Fitzroy Falls. We return to Peppers to get ready for Christmas Day celebrations and festive feast. Enjoy a long lunch together capturing the spirit of Christmas, taking time to enjoy every moment of this special day, savouring the delights of the freshest seafood and traditional fare.
We make our way to Sydney Harbour to witness an iconic Australian event, the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race! Feel the spirit of the Harbour as the race starts, and enjoy a special 3-hour lunch cruise. There will be radio commentary of the race and spectacular photo opportunities from the outer decks to see the maxi yachts in action. Following the cruise we re-board our coach and check in to our Sydney CBD Hotel.
This morning we board a local coach company and make our way to the Sydney Opera House for a private guided walking tour. Learn what makes this building a World Heritage listed masterpiece and discover the magic beneath the sails. After the tour, take some free time to enjoy last minute shopping and grab a bite to eat before meeting your Tour Host and making our way to the Sydney Airport for your respective Carbon Neutral flights home.

Explore the wonders of Dorrigo National Park with a rainforest walk and views from the Skywalk, followed by a guided tour of Dutton Trout Hatchery. This iconic regional produce event showcases the famous Cherry which has been part of the landscape around Young for over 150 years. Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. You can also bring one small, soft carry-on bag not exceeding 30cm wide, 30cm high, and 15cm thick that may be stowed in the overhead compartment.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
