Fun Over 50 Holidays, Immersive Tours, and Adventures has paved a new way for coach, cruise, rail, and air travel providing luxury all-inclusive package holidays for over 50s, with experienced local community guides and developing a People and Planet Program like no other.
We operate over 140 departures annually, reaching every state and territory in Australia and a selection of international destinations, employing a passionate and dedicated team of fellow Australians.
Company founder, Toni Brennan, had a vision to break the stereotype of extended tour travel for over 50s and offer immersive experiences. These experiences would need to make a difference in people’s lives and the places and people where they visit.
Armed with her vision, Toni launched Fun Over 50 Holidays in August 2002 from a sewing table in her laundry. Not wanting to compete in the budget coach market, and to realise her vision of changing perceptions and travel experiences for over 50s travel, the Gold Class Coach was born.
The coaches were custom made and designed with distinctive features such as leather reclining seats and generous legroom achieved by having fewer seats than a standard full-size coach.
In 2017, Fun Over 50 Holidays took coach touring to a new level of luxury with its Diamond Class coach tours.
Known as “Business Class on Wheels”, Diamond Class offers guests an opulent experience including a red-carpet entry, galley kitchen, WIFI and extra-wide leather reclining seats with lumbar support, footrests and more. Designed in iconic gold and diamond pearlescent colours, the fleet has become a synonymous symbol for the company and luxury coach tours.
What began as a makeshift home office from her sewing table, the company expanded to a full garage and house extension for four full-time staff, eventually leading to the purchase of a 5-acre property to house the expanding coach fleet.
Since its inception, the Fun Over 50’s Holidays vision is to make the lives of their guests, the local communities in which they work and the places they visit, better. To realise this vision, Fun Over 50 Holidays meets many of the latest cultural and environmental standards, and undertake ongoing industry certification across 4 main pillars of Responsible Tourism.
