Our Carbon Neutral flights arrive into Melbourne, where we board our luxury ‘Gold Class’ coach, travelling responsibly knowing all coach emissions are 100% offset. We travel to the city centre to check into our accommodation.
This morning we take a guided tour of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, followed by a visit to the unique Australian Sports Museum. After lunch we head to the Melbourne Sky Deck, the highest observation deck in the Southern Hemisphere at 300 metres, for stunning views. Afterward, enjoy some free time before dinner.
Departing Melbourne, we pass Geelong to travel the famous Great Ocean Road, stopping in Torquay enroute. We continue through Anglesea and Lorne before reaching Apollo Bay. After lunch, enjoy scenic views and the Twelve Apostles before ending our day in Warrnambool.
Today we visit the quaint village of Port Fairy with a local guide to explore its whaling and sealing history. We then pass through Portland, Victoria’s oldest European settlement. After lunch here, we head to Mt Gambier to view the mysterious Blue Lake.
Today we travel through Naracoorte and Keith to visit the Bavarian village of Hahndorf. Here we indulge in a German themed lunch at Hahndorf Inn and enjoy some free time to stroll around the village. We then climb Mount Lofty Ranges for views over Adelaide.
This morning, we tour downtown Adelaide, then head to Victor Harbour for a ride on the historic Horse-Drawn Tramway to Granite Island. Enjoy free time to explore before our visit to McLaren Vale for a wine tasting at Hardys Tintara.
This morning we travel via the Barossa Valley visiting Mengler Hill Lookout. We continue to the Maggie Beer Farm Shop for a cooking demonstration and lunch, sampling some of Maggie’s signature products. Later we head to Mannum to board the PS Murray Princess for our Outback Heritage Cruise. Enjoy drinks, and a welcome dinner as we cruise upriver to our first mooring destination at Caurnamont.
Enjoy a relaxed morning as we cruise upriver to Blanchetown through one of 13 locks. This afternoon we visit Burk Salter’s vineyard for wine tasting at the cellar door.
Cruise downriver to Swan Reach and visit the Swan Reach Hotel before reaching Sunnydale. Here it’s ‘all ashore’ for the Woolshed Show showcasing Australian woolshed history. Later visit the Native Wildlife Shelter, then indulge in a classic ‘Aussie BBQ’ in a bush setting on the banks of the Murray River.
Today we cruise past stunning cliffs to Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park for a guided boardwalk tour of ancient rock carvings and Aboriginal history. After reboarding, continue to Younghusband and enjoy the Captain’s farewell dinner.
After breakfast we dock at Mannum and make our way to Adelaide Airport for our respective Carbon Neutral flights home.

Our coach tours have a baggage restriction of 17kg per person (regardless of flight and rail allowances) due to our Occupational Health & Safety standards. Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
