Depart from Brisbane International Airport and arrive in Tokyo same day. After clearing customs and immigration, you’ll be greeted by private transfer guides for transfers to our luxurious hotel, located in central Tokyo. This evening, we gather for a welcome group dinner.

Embark on a Tokyo sightseeing tour, passing the National Diet Building and Tokyo Skytree. We’ll stop at the Imperial Palace and Nijubashi Bridge (Double Bridge) for great photo opportunities, followed by a visit to Ueno Park. Our afternoon takes us exploring Asakusa Kannon Temple, Nakamise shopping street, and Sumida River cruise from Asakusa to Odaiba. The day concludes with a memorable Japanese-style dinner.

Marvel at Meiji Shrine, explore Harajuku and leisurely stroll through the luxury shops of Omotesando before a visit to the bustling Shibuya Crossing. Onto Mori Art Museum we enjoy contemporary art and stunning panoramic views of Tokyo. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore or relax at your leisure.

Discover Koishikawa Botanical Garden, showcasing diverse plant species and a charming Japanese landscape garden. We depart Tokyo for Hakone by coach, visiting Peace Park, Owakudani Hot Spring, then enjoy a cruise on Lake Ashi.
Today, we visit majestic Mt Fuji, ascending to the 5th Station at 2,300 metres above sea level. After lunch, we travel to Takayama and check into our hotel for 2 nights.
Join our guide for a full day tour with visits to the Exhibition Hall and the Folkcraft Museum. Wander through the quaint streets filled with traditional thatched roof buildings and merchant homes.

Visit the UNESCO-listed Shirakawa-gō, known for its 250-year-old Gasshōzukuri farmhouse. Next, we head to Kanazawa to explore Kenroku-en Garden, the Kanazawa Museum, and a Samurai house.
Discover Kyoto, Japan’s ancient capital, exploring Heian Jingu Shrine, home to one of the world’s most authentic Japanese gardens. and Golden Pavilion. Next see the Nishijin Showroom and stroll along the Path of Philosophers. This afternoon experience a traditional tea ceremony before returning to Kyoto.

Enjoy a tour of Kyoto and Nara, starting with Nijo Castle. Participate in a sushi-making experience before visiting Todaiji 'sTemple and its Great Buddha Hall. Afterward, explore a deer park, then return to Kyoto to visit Fushimi Inari Shrine.
**This evening enjoy free time in this ancient capital city as dinner is free dining at own expense.
This morning, we board the JR Bullet Train ‘Nozomi’ (1st class) from Kyoto to Hiroshima, arriving in under 2 hours. We then tour Miyajima and Itsukushima Shrine, including a ferry ride to Miyajima Island, where the scenic harmony of mountains, sea, and red shrine buildings creates a historic site. After dinner, we check into our hotel.

Today, we visit Hiroshima’s Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. Then, take a 1.5-hour bullet train ride (1st class) to Himeji for a Japanese style lunch and a tour of Himeji Castle. We finish by transferring to Osaka for a two-night stay.
Travel to Kobe to learn about sake, followed by lunch at Kobe Sake Brewery, sampling the famous Kobe beef. Then return to Osaka for a relaxing river cruise and spend the afternoon exploring Kuromon Ichiba Market. Tonight, enjoy a farewell dinner together.
After breakfast, we enjoy a leisurely morning until making our way to Osaka airport for our flights to Tokyo.

Our Gold Class coaches have a seat capacity of between 44 and 46, but we cap Gold Class tours at 40 guests per tour. Our Diamond Class tours have a capacity of just 26 guests.
